For the artist, Almaty lives in the scent of pine trees and endless greenery, the mountains on the horizon, and the freshness and laughter of days spent skating at Medeu. It is also found in walks past GATOB, Tulebaika and Panfilova, accompanied by the familiar sound of water running through the city’s aryks.
