Her work combines decorative forms, symbolic images and a soft sense of storytelling. Olga often explores familiar cultural details, childhood memories, national dress, ornaments and steppe motifs through a contemporary visual style.

The idea for her Tugan Jer series began during Folktale Week, an international illustration challenge. She wanted to create a series about Kazakhstan that would bring together the visual motifs, traditions and cultural details of Kazakh heritage in a more complete way.

For Olga, these themes are personal. They are part of what surrounded her, inspired her and shaped the way she sees beauty. In her work, she focuses on mood and feeling, building them through colour, rhythm, form and composition.

Her illustrations bring warmth, colour and a sense of home into the interior.
