Frequently asked questions

Who keeps the copyright?

The copyright stays with the artist. Postereyes does not buy your work or take ownership of your rights. We only receive the right to use the image for producing, selling and promoting posters.

How will Postereyes use my images?

We may use the image for product pages, mockups, the website, ads, social media, email campaigns and poster printing. This is needed to show, promote and sell the poster.

Why is the artist’s percentage set this way?

The percentage reflects the work on both sides. The artist creates the artwork and keeps the rights. Postereyes handles the business side, covers the main costs and brings the poster to buyers.

What is the difference between exclusive and non-exclusive placement?

Exclusive placement
The selected image can be sold as a poster, print, reproduction or other printed product only through Postereyes. The artist keeps the copyright. The exact terms, period and territory are fixed in the agreement.

Non-exclusive placement
The selected image can be sold through Postereyes, while the artist can also use or sell it through other platforms, shops or partners. The exact terms are fixed in the agreement.

Can the agreement be made for a fixed period?

Yes. The collaboration period can be agreed in advance, for example for one year. The terms are fixed in the agreement.

How are works selected for posters?

We review the artist’s portfolio, Instagram or website together and select images that can work well as interior posters.

What poster sizes will be available?

We recommend sending the highest-quality file available. Ideally, the file should match the largest size you want to sell.

Recommended file sizes:

  • Small: A3, 8400 × 6000 px, 300 dpi
  • Medium: A2 / B2, 9933 × 7016 px, 300 dpi
  • Large: A1, 12000 × 8400 px, 300 dpi

In some cases, a smaller file may still work for a larger print, but we review this individually. If the resolution is not enough, we will limit the available sizes to keep the print quality high.

Where should I send high-quality images?

After we review and approve your application, we will ask you to send the final high-quality files directly via Telegram.

How are sales reports prepared?

Reports are based on platform order data. Each report shows sold works, sizes, quantities, actual sale prices, discounts, artist percentage and the final payout amount.

How are payments made?

Payments are usually made via PayPal, as it is convenient for international transfers from Europe.

Can I make a large income through Postereyes?

Postereyes does not promise fast or large income. Customers choose posters from different works on the platform. For the artist, this is an additional sales channel, a form of passive income and a way to become more visible in Europe without spending on a website, advertising, printing or logistics.
